STATEMENT OF FAITH
THE BIBLE
The Bible reveals the original fallen sinful state of Man and God’s progressive pursuit of him to save and restore man back to him. The Bible, Old and New Testament, are considered holy scriptures for the believer - As originally written by inspiration of the Holy Spirit, without error and entirely trustworthy. The Bible is the supreme authority for faith, teaching and conduct. Jesus Christ is the center and fulfillment of the Scriptures.
We believe that the Bible is made of 66 books, namely the old and New Testaments while being the perfect and inerrant revelation of God to mankind for salvation. It is divinely inspired, and it stands the test of time since God is sovereign and wishes that the words recorded in there would be our final authority.
GOD
We believe that there is one true and living God, which exists eternally in three persons as the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They are each co-equal with one another in divine attributes and perfection, while they each perform their distinct functions harmoniously in the work of creation, providence and redemption. They make up for the Godhead.
-
We believe in God the Father, as the infinite spirit, personal and perfect in his holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe that in his foreknowledge, he infallibly knows all that will happen, while in his mercy he cares for the affairs of men, who he hears and answers through prayer. He saves all who come to him by faith through Jesus Christ. He sent his Son into the world to save sinners. He raised Jesus from the dead, exalted him, giving him all power.
Genesis 1:26 | 1 Corinthians 8:6 | Ephesians 4:6 | Isaiah 64:8 | Ephesians 1:3 | 1 John 3:1
-
We consider Jesus Christ to be the only begotten Son of God. Having perfect spiritual preeminence while being pre-existent as God, Jesus is fully God and fully man, working miracles and teaching the perfect will of our Father. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, and lived a sinless life. We believe in his atoning death for our sins, his resurrection and his ascension into heaven, where he now reigns as king and intercedes for his people to the Father. He is our Savior, and it is in his name that we can have forgiveness for our sins as well as eternal life.
He will return as King of kings and Lord of lords to establish his earthly kingdom.
John 1:1 | John 1:14-15,18 | 2 Corinthians 5:21 | 1 Corinthians 15:3-4 | Colossians 1:15-19 | Revelation 22:12 - 13 | Colossians 1:15-19
-
We believe in the Holy Spirit sent by the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness and judgment as well as to regenerate, sanctify and empower all who believe in Jesus Christ as Savior. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ to guide, instruct and lead them along the path of eternal life.

THE TRINITY
SALVATION
Our sins separate us from our Creator, but yet God in his manifold mercy and justice offered us reconciliation through his only son Jesus whom he sent to die as a substitute for us. We were dead In our trespasses and our way to eternal damnation, but the grace of God which none of us deserves was now made accessible to us through the atoning death of Christ as a blood sacrifice holy and perfect in the eyes of the father.
We believe that salvation can be acquired by faith alone, once confession in Jesus as personal Lord and Savior is made, thus believing with the depth of our heart that God raised him from the dead. We are called to repent from unbelief, thus recognizing our need for the Savior. We must turn to him with utter trust and faith. This is the beginning of a whole new life of conviction and commitment, animated by the Holy Spirit. Once we are justified, sanctified and given the Holy Spirit, we can’t help but share the Good News with everyone as commanded by Christ, while we continually seek the infilling of the Holy Spirit, with accompanying signs and wonders, supernatural experiences, and an earnest desire to Tap into a higher prophetic dimension as we submit to the Holy Spirit ever more.

WATER BAPTISM
We believe that water baptism is a must in the life of the new believer. But what is water baptism? Water baptism is one of the most beautiful, significant and life-defining moments in our journey as Christians. This simple act of obedience as a Believer has powerful supernatural significance. In addition to it being symbolic, it carries a spiritual weight of glory. Water baptism is a public declaration of our faith in Jesus Christ and the outward demonstration of the inward transformation that takes place when we receive Him as our Lord and Saviour. When the believer gets immersed in the waters of baptism in the name of the father, son, and Holy Spirit, namely Jesus Christ, the statement made is one of identification with the death, burial and resurrection of the savior.
THE LORD’S SUPPER
We believe that the lord’s supper is One of the Church’s two ordinances or sacraments. The Lord’s Supper was instituted by Jesus to commemorate his death, to symbolize the New Covenant, to point to the fellowship of a redeemed people gathered at his table, and to anticipate the messianic banquet yet to come. We believe that the bread and the cup point to his broken body and shed blood and are definitive symbols of the New covenant in Christ.
PRACTICAL GODLINESS
We believe that Cultivating practical godliness is essential to the Christian life, and is made up of pursuing spiritual disciplines that are both personal (bible reading, prayer, fasting, etc.) and interpersonal (baptism, the Lord’s Supper, fellowship, family worship, etc.). These disciplines are means that are not godliness themselves, but definitely do help to put the Christian in the flow of God’s grace. Faith must trigger a desire to live obediently to the word of God, always striving for holiness without which no one will see the lord. Jesus was clear about how we must
abide in him so we can bear good fruit.

DISCIPLESHIP
We believe that discipleship is something every true born again Christian must desire wholeheartedly. As we begin to indulge in Christ, his word and his will, our faith in the person of Christ causes us to observe and obey his teachings so as to become more like Christ in everything. Our love for God leaves us wondering how to please him with everything we say and do. It is a process that requires time and commitment, but we believe that it is God who begins and finishes the work. Growing together with the saints towards corporate edification is one of our focal goals. And as a community of faith, one way to achieve this is by becoming a bridge between the church and the lost through evangelism, in order to bring them to Christ and then equip them in God to be ready unto every good work.
We believe that Heaven is a permanent, eternal divine reward reserved for those who have been declared righteous through their faith in Jesus’ finished work on the cross whereas Hell is real and permanent. It is an eternal just divine punishment for those who reject the free gift of salvation, which is able to save their souls out of hell. Failing to trust in Jesus leads humans every day to Hell. Heaven and Hell are real and very literal. Those who reject Christ will go to a place of everlasting damnation prepared for the devil and his angels. In conclusion, mankind’s eternal destiny is defined by wether or not they have placed their trust in Jesus.
HEAVEN & HELL

THE CHURCH
We believe that our church fellowship must reflect the commandments and sound doctrines of both Christ and the apostles - Which ultimately have had as goal to lead the assembly unto a pattern of Godly character and good works for the sake of Christ. We believe in the church both as a local and universal assembly of true believers making up for the body of Christ worldwide. We believe that the church ought to have for mission the furthering of the gospel everywhere and however God leads and pleases, while counting the cost of discipleship with both new and older believers.
We believe that every good gift for the church comes from Jesus who is the head of the body, whose true desire for us members is to operate in all of the gifts of the spirit as recorded in scripture. We believe those to be crucial since they are meant to equip the saints for the work of ministry, and for the building of the body of Christ, until we all attain a perfect unity in the faith and knowledge of the Son of God, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. We believe that the church is a hospital for the sick where needs can be assessed and fulfilled however small or big those are, and as much as it pertains to those willing to help and support in love. Unlike some, we don’t believe that the spiritual gifts have ceased with the Apostolic Church, but rather we believe that not all have the same ministerial roles and vocations, especially when it boils down to positions of authority.
We believe that women can not be pastors as some roles are gender specific. This however doesn’t make women or men less important of their God given roles and gifts.

LEADERSHIP & OFFICES
We believe that God has appointed leaders in his church of which stem the elders, overseers, deacons, and other leaders in positions of authority. We also believe in the 5 fold ministries - All those have for task, the mission to point to Christ our Lord and Savior. Leadership equips, trains, feeds, inspires, cultivates, comforts, corrects, protects and worships. The roles, positions and giftings are thoroughly defined and guided by the Holy spirit. Lastly, there are key characteristics leaders in their proper offices must possess and others they must avoid at all cost ; e.g. pride or vain glory - those can be found in God’s Word (John 10:14 | 1 Corinthians 11 | Ephesians 4).
